My Grandfather Norman Pehr Persson was the best master carpenter of his day. He had me in his workshop as a child using hammers and nails while most were playing with dolls. He sadly passed away from his long battle with dementia September of 2020. I’ve recently moved my work space from his workshop to my own on my farm I’ve named after him- Farmhouse Pehr.

The strength of his memory, love, & our family are greater than dementia and being proactive with love for him is better than coping, its thriving. My dream is to carry on my Grandfathers legacy and leaving something behind he can be proud of. Each time I pick up a saw, a drill, or a brush I like to think his story continues to be told. Like my Grandfather, each piece is original and solid. No vinyl stickers, no easily damaged faux wood alternatives, no identical replicas. One of a kind. Hand cut. Hand stained. Hand painted. Solid wood. I’m aware there’s more efficient/modern saws & tools out there that would cut my work time in half- BUT I prefer to use his tools he used all of his years. The best way to live for me, I’ve found- is to live for him.

We do not refurbish customers existing pieces & only sell our own merchandise. All of my pieces that are currently available for purchase are found in the “purchase” tab above.
